Conyngham Arms Hotel

Upgrading the fire alarm system in a property like the Conyngham Arms Hotel presents unique challenges, especially in relation to preserving the structural integrity and aesthetic of the building, whilst ensuring occupant safety and limiting disruption to guests.
Working with the electrical contractor on site, VRF carried out a detailed radio site survey and system design survey. VRF delivered the fire alarm system to site, fully programmed and labelled and ready for install.
The EMS FireCell wireless fire detection system, consisting of 120+ wireless devices, provided full L1 coverage throughout the building in strict compliance with IS 3218 (2024).
The system was designed and commissioned by VRF, it was installed by the hotel’s electrical contractor.
