Malahide Golf Club – Club House & Pro Shop

VRF worked with the nominated electrical contractor on this project to survey, design and programme a FireCell wireless fire detection system delivering L2/L3 coverage throughout the clubhouse. The system was installed by the electrical contractor and commissioned and tested by VRF.
After the clubhouse upgrade, a second FireCell wireless system was designed and supplied to cover the pro shop and external gatekeeper sheds. This system was interlinked wirelessly with the main clubhouse, avoiding the need for costly and disruptive civil works.
This wireless solution minimised invasive cabling works,
allowed for a phased installation while both buildings remained fully operational and there was no disruption to staff or members.
